SUMMARY:Peppercorn Ceremony in St. George's
DESCRIPTION:Join fellow IWC Members for the historical Peppercorn Ceremony in King’s Square. We will gather near the picnic tables at Moongate at 10:00am before we walk down to the ceremony in the square. The ceremony is anticipated to take place from about 10:30am – 12:00pm.\n\n \n\nThe annual Peppercorn Ceremony in St George’s is a historical reenactment where Freemasons pay their annual rent of one peppercorn to the Governor for the use of the Old State House. The event features a 17-gun salute\, military parade\, and takes place in King’s Square in traditional costumes. \n \n\n\nParking for spectators will be available at Penno’s Wharf. A detailed parking map will be shared closer to the event.

SUMMARY:New Islanders + Trekkers City Tour
DESCRIPTION:IWC New Islanders and IWC Trekkers are invited to take part in a private tour of the City of Hamilton. Award winning Town Crier\, Ed Christopher\, will be our guide. The tour will take between 1 to 1.5 hours and will leave promptly at 10:30am from City Hall. Whilst this is a free tour we would like to show our gratitude to Ed by giving him a tip\, so please bring $5 cash (or more if you’d prefer). Numbers will be limited to 25 people. As we are in town there will be plenty of options for a well earned coffee or tea afterwards. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!
