SUMMARY:Peppercorn Ceremony in St. George's
DESCRIPTION:Join fellow IWC Members for the historical Peppercorn Ceremony in King’s Square. We will gather near the picnic tables at Moongate at 10:00am before we walk down to the ceremony in the square. The ceremony is anticipated to take place from about 10:30am – 12:00pm.\n\n \n\nThe annual Peppercorn Ceremony in St George’s is a historical reenactment where Freemasons pay their annual rent of one peppercorn to the Governor for the use of the Old State House. The event features a 17-gun salute\, military parade\, and takes place in King’s Square in traditional costumes. \n \n\n\nParking for spectators will be available at Penno’s Wharf. A detailed parking map will be shared closer to the event.

It’s a blue house with red brick driveway. Look for the IWC banner at the base of the driveway because Google Maps is slightly inaccurate. There is limited parking on the property (8-10 spaces). Overflow parking is available at the Turtle Hill Clubhouse\, just walk between hole 16 and hole 17 to find her house (5 min walk). Another overflow parking option is at the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse just a short walk down the road (5 min walk). DESCRIPTION:Join fellow IWC Members for a BZS led Whale Watching Tour. The boat will depart from the Flatts Inlet Dock. Parking is available in the lot across from the aquarium but please carpool when possible. Dress warmly and bring binoculars! Since we will be on the boat for a lengthy amount of time\, we encourage you to pack plenty of food and water. Please no alcohol. Also if you are prone to seasickness\, we encourage you to take preventative measures.\n \n$88 per ticket includes boat ticket\, gratuity\, and light snacks. Members are allowed to purchase tickets for guests. Minimum age of 10 years old to participate.\n \nRAIN DATE for the Whale Watching Tour is Friday\, March 20th.\n

DESCRIPTION:All aboard! Join fellow IWC members for coffee and shopping on the Logos Hope. What is the Logos Hope you might ask? It is the world’s largest floating book fair with over 5\,000 book titles to choose from. The ship will only be docked in Hamilton for a few weeks\, so we thought it would be a fun spot to grab coffee and browse the book selection together. Please note payments made in the book fair with MasterCard and Visa credit card have a 25% discount. \nCosts: Tickets are free\, but 3 BMD cash fee will be due upon entry of the ship. \nMeeting Location: Logos Hope will be docked by the Pier 6 Waterfront Complex. We will meet out front of Pier 6 at 10:00am to hand out tickets prior to boarding the ship. DESCRIPTION:IWC New Islanders and IWC Trekkers are invited to take part in a private tour of the City of Hamilton. Award winning Town Crier\, Ed Christopher\, will be our guide. The tour will take between 1 to 1.5 hours and will leave promptly at 10:30am from City Hall.
